Thank you for your interest in the Ward MD Form Spa Injection Training Program. These courses allow the trainee to learn Dr. Ward’s principles of facial aesthetics and techniques for safe and natural enhancement through the use of injectables. Each course is taught by Dr. Ward and his hand-picked faculty.
Dr. Ward is an internationally recognized expert in facial injection techniques, teaching, and training. Dr. Ward is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, Realself 100 Doctor, a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, amongst his many credentials.
There are multiple options available for training that address several of the concerns about training in injectables. The primary objective is to provide injectors with an education that allows them to begin injecting immediately upon conclusion of the course and to immediately begin growing their injectable practice. All of the courses include education on avoiding complications, and ensuring safety is the most basic goal. This education is provided through a combination of experiences that no other educational program provides, including didactic lectures, clinical shadowing, operating room shadowing, and hands-on activities. There are several options for training. Each option is explained below.
Basic Course
The basic course is completed in one day. This course provides an overview of different fillers and botulinum toxins as well as an overview of relevant anatomy. This is a good course for those who are newer to injections, and those without previous experience, but who are interested in obtaining a broad overview of injectables. The cost of the course includes didactic education and hands on mentoring. The trainee will inject one one patient.

Advanced Course
- Sculptra
- Upper Face: Brow, temple, cheeks, under-eyes.
- Lower Face: Jawline, chin, neck
- Nose: non-surgical rhinoplasty
The advanced course is intended for injectors who have completed the Basic Course and who wish to learn in depth information about specific fillers or anatomic regions. This course is a good option for those with previous injection experience, but who would like to gain more information about a specific technique, injectable, or anatomic region. There is also a robust discussion about clientele growth. The course includes 1-2 injections overseen and mentored by Dr. Ward and his handpicked injectors.

One Week Clinical Internship
This course is completed over the course of five days (typically, a Monday through Friday) and includes didactic lectures, clinical shadowing, and hands on mentoring of five injection clients chosen by the student.

One Month Clinical Internship
This course is completed over the course of a month (four Monday through Friday weeks) and includes didactic lectures, clinical shadowing, operating room shadowing, and hands on mentoring of up to twenty injection clients chosen by the student.

Course participation is limited in order to provide a small and intimate learning environment, and early registration is required in order to reserve your spot in the course. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required for registration and all course fees must be paid in full one week prior to the start date of the course. Financing options are available. Late entrances will be accepted on a case by case basis and will be charged a 15% late registration fee.
