Tired of Looking Tired?

We Have Solutions!

If you think you Tired of looking tired, you are not alone. Sixty-two percent of members responding to an annual survey conducted by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery stated that procedures that aim to make clients look less tired are a rising trend. Wrinkles, dark circles, hollowness, and crow’s feet around the eyes can make you look exhausted and aged.

Here are some things you need to know!

  • Take care of yourself!

Eating healthy, exercising regularly, and getting an appropriate amount of sleep is the number one way to take care of yourself. A great way to hydrate and receive a bit of an energy boost is to take advantage of one of our IV infusions. With a variety of benefits, we offer four customizable infusions to give you exactly what you need (Form Remedy, Hydrate, Fit, and Beauty).

  • Topical treatments work!

Rehydrating and tightening the skin around the eyes helps restore their youthful appearance. Taking advantage of my years of work as a facial plastic surgeon and my master’s degree in chemistry, I formulated and developed my own eye cream, Form RX Bright Eyes Cream, which is specifically designed for the delicate skin around the eye. Patients love how this simple, topical formulation allows the beauty of their natural eyes shines through. In addition, the wrinkles under the eyes can be treated with a topical regimen that includes a retinoid (a vitamin A derivative) and antioxidants. Our favorite is the Form RX Night Cream in combination with a Vitamin C serum. The retinoid in the Night Cream increases cell turnover, which stimulates collagen production, and the anti-oxidants in the Vitamin C serum helps prevent the breakdown of collagen.
For a more aggressive topical approach, consider a Hydrafacial treatment, which removes the external debris on the skin and helps infuse hydrating, nourishing elements, such as antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid,

  • Minimally Invasive Options are here to stay!

Minimally invasive options for eyelid rejuvenation achieve their effects by tightening the skin, decreasing muscle contraction, and promoting collagen production. Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin may be injected under the skin to decrease the action of the muscles that cause unwanted facial wrinkles between the eyebrows, around the Crow’s feet, and on the forehead. Fillers, such as Restylane, Juvederm, Silk, Volbella can be injected to fill in depressed areas and camouflage under eye bags. They are also used to help improve darkness under the eyes.
Laser treatments use the energy of a laser to tighten the skin and produce collagen. Lasers are an amazing treatment that allows us to adjust the treatment level to the individual’s needs.
Sublative RF skin tightening harnesses radiofrequency energy to effectively tighten saggy skin and treat skin blemishes such as acne scars and wrinkles. It’s an incredibly effective treatment that requires little to no downtime.

  • Surgery can’t be beaten for the most effective and long-lasting results!

If you have sunken areas or hollowness below the eyes, an autologous fat transfer may be the right treatment for you. A small amount of fat is harvested from your body and then injected beneath the skin and muscle of the cheek and lower eyelid to fill in the area.
A permanent option to revitalize the eye area is eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), which can reduce puffiness, sagging skin, and drooping eyelids. Removal of excess fat, muscle, and loose skin, while hiding the incisions in the natural lines and creases of the eyelid, leads to a better-rested, more youthful appearance with smooth, rejuvenated skin. The upper and the lower eyelids are often addressed together, but can also be addressed separately.

Several factors will be considered to determine what cosmetic treatment or procedure is right for the individual, including age, skin type, ethnic background, and overall health. During our consultation, I examine the area and discuss your concerns in detail to determine the best plan of action, whether it includes a series of minimally invasive treatments, eyelid surgery, or a combination of procedures to help you achieve a more refreshed, younger-looking appearance.
