The most important thing that everyone and their mom needs to invest in? Sunscreen. And no, we aren’t just talking about sunscreen to bring to a day at the beach (although that’s important too)! We’re talking about the kind that you should be wearing every day. You may not realize it, but even in November, your skin can still be exposed to the sun’s harmful rays which can cause sun damage and may even increase your chances of developing skin cancer.

Exfoliator

Another thing everyone should invest in? A good face scrub. By using a face scrub about 2-3 times a week, you can get rid of dead, dry skin which will encourage the growth of newer, healthier skin in its place— leaving you with smoother skin in the process.

Cleanser

Now that you’re giving up on bar soap to wash your face, try investing in a facial cleanser that’s designed for your specific skin type in mind. For instance, if you have acne, look for one that contains acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide.

Moisturizer

There are two different types of moisturizers: daily and nightly ones. Try investing in both of these. A daily moisturizer usually contains a light sunscreen and will protect your skin during the day. A night cream or moisturizer contains properties to help moisturize and heal your skin while you’re sleeping.
